We haven’t looked into this just yet, but we will. This build was for sale this summer (2022) and it looks like Cheyenne County purchased it. To us, it is a terrible use of the downtown. This could have made some excellent retail or restaurant space, but now it is exempt for taxes, so our taxes may go up to compensate for this purchase. More to come!

This makes me upset!!!! They didn’t give a dime to our local kids park fund but bought a new building for themselves? Really? I have a friend in the county offices that I will ask more about this.
