So on Monday night, we can expect the Cheyenne County Board to show us that they need to increase all our taxes because of increased costs. Fuel, HVAC, etc.. etc.
As Nebraskans, we are experiencing those as well. Costs are going up everywhere. The median monthly mortgage payment was $1,200, in 2019 according to US Census housing data. This has jumped to $1,889 in 2022. That is a 157% increase!
