Nebraskans are good people. Like the one lady in the recent LB644 meeting said “let’s be nice”…. to a point. We have reached that point.
At our last community meeting, we told everyone our job is to build a case trying to change the minds of our elected officials. Many believed it could not be done. Here today we make this pledge to our fellow residents. IT DOES NOT END THERE.
If our officials ignore the people, we will follow Nebraska law, Chapter 32-1302, and recall all those officials that do not listen to the people.
They are elected to carry out the will of the people. They are elected to do what is best for the people. If they do not do this, then we will initiate the recall of all those who do it “their” way and not the “peoples” way.
Change will come!

We fully expect to be slammed by some for “causing trouble” or being ugly. If this is what it takes to help the people of Cheyenne County, then bring it on. Let the people decide.
