What the heck are we doing to our fellow citizens?
Good morning everyone. LB644 community meetings are now being held across Nebraska for the devastating tax increases hitting some families by local tax districts. Last night I watched the entire 90 minutes meeting on youtube from Lancaster County Nebraska.
I am putting a link to the limited 3-minute comment from the second community resident. A retired limited income gentleman whose taxes are going up $2,000. PLEASE TAKE 3 MINUTES AND WATCH THIS… PLEASE…
Even though I am not a life long Nebraskan, (we have only been here 5 years) I still feel a deep desire to help these people. I hope and pray that everyone who reads this post will join us and build a stronger community that takes care of its people. Thank you.
