A Heartfelt Thankyou!
It was so nice to hear from everyone before, during, and after our community meeting last night. We took a lot of notes and will be posting some of them this weekend. We have already started working on the new website for better communication and a few other things we talked about.
We had 55 citizens show up. This is great because no one knew us and it was wonderful to meet so many amazing residents that we can work with moving forward to help build a great community and make a few necessary changes.
Next is the Commissioner’s meeting about the tax increase on the 26th at 6pm. EVERYONE needs to go to show how this community feels.
Some of us stay at late as 10pm last night still talking. What a great group of people. We discussed when to have another meeting. I think some want more barbeque LOL, I know I do… We are thinking of one in early October to outline the next steps and then candidates meeting in mid to late October. We will look at some dates and see what is best for everyone.
